What is the aprx. estimate of fees in winning this car? If I won a Hybrid car in the Subway Scrabble sweepstakes, about how much would I have to pay to claim my prize + extra fees?
Here’s what the rules say on the website:
"Winners will be responsible for all optional equipment, title, license, insurance and registration fees required in claiming their Vehicle, applicable taxes as well as all other expenses relating to the receipt and use of Vehicle, including any travel and transportation costs associated with collecting the Vehicle. All other costs not specifically stated herein as being awarded are the responsibility of each winner."
Depends on the make of car, where you have to go to get it, and what state you live in – all of these charges are going to depend on where you live and register the car (someone who lives right next door to wherever the car being given away will have lower transportation costs than someone living clear across country and each state charges titles, taxes and tags at different rates).
